Leadership Development
This moment we live in requires a different way of leading, in our teams, organizations, families, communities and industry fields.
Yet the cost of such ways is that we get disconnected from our very own wholeness, inter-connectedness to each other, and intelligence and resources of the systems we are part of, all of which are always naturally changing, complex, and beautiful precisely because of the messy, uncertain and dynamic nature.
It is time that we lead in ways that serve the whole – ways that are rooted in a deep connection with our personal center, resourced by trust in what becomes possible when we come together, and what becomes available when we attune to the signals within the system.
The moment that demands that we let go of playing safe, being certain, and claiming control
— these are all well-intentioned ways that we have learned so we could feel protected from changes, uncertainty, messiness and complexity. In my personal journey as a leader I have cherished, held on to these ways myself.
I work with leaders one-to-one and in groups to cultivate and sustain these ways of leading.

I work with leaders from start-up, mid-size and large-scale organizations. I also support leaders from non-profit and social impact organizations, typically offered at reduced rates or on a pro-bono basis. With each leader we usually work together over an extended period of time (e.g. 6 months, a year or longer) to support the leader’s development and growth in a personalized way.
Sometimes the development is supported by a leadership framework (Co-Active® Leadership Model or Universal Leadership Model™), 360 leadership assessment (the Leadership Circle Profile®) or a particular approach (Systemic Coaching and Constellation), if appropriate and beneficial for the leader’s context.
-
I work with groups of leaders in leadership development programs, often in large-scale organizations. These programs integrate immersive, experiential learning, real-world leadership opportunities and challenges for integration, peer witnessing and support, and personalized feedback and coaching.
““Melody was the facilitator for a corporate leadership program I joined. What has stayed with me isn't a model or a technique, but the change in how I show up as a leader. Through Melody’s own realness and her quiet way of surfacing the questions each one of us have been avoiding - I became more honest about who I am as a leader and a human. Because of our work together, I am now meeting people and difficult moments with more warmth and less of the corporate armor I used to default to, and coming from my inner clarity and courage in the decisions and impact I create. Melody doesn't just help you become a better leader, she helps you become a truer one.”
