My work integrates my background in leadership, strategy and finance, and a deeply human and soulful orientation.

I consider myself and my approach multi-dimensional and paradoxical, bringing the structured and the non-linear, the deep and playful, the strategic and the emergent, the practical and the magical, and the deeply grounding and the quietly disruptive doorways to change. I hold coaching credentials with the Co-Active Training Institute (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, “CPCC”) and International Coach Federation (Associate Certified Coach, “ACC”). I hold a Master of Business Administration, and I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. My working languages are English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

My name is Ning Ruan (阮宁). My English name is Melody which I chose for myself at the age of thirteen. I am originally from northeastern part of China and I now live in Hong Kong with my husband and our adopted rescue cat. I consider myself spiritual. I love scuba diving, taking photos of tiny marine creatures, and DJing house music.
